Text
Over the weekend, some said that there were no new actions, full stop, in the strategy, and those accusations are absolutely false. When the strategy is published next week, everyone will have the opportunity to see exactly what is in it. There is a consultation, so everyone will have the opportunity to share their views on that. For me, it is difficult to take the issue of child poverty separately from poverty more generally, because children do not live alone. They do not experience poverty in isolation, which is why we are taking a much more rounded approach.
