Text
I thank the Member for his follow-up question. Look, I do not live in a world of wishes and lullabies; I live in reality, and that reality is that we need to get agreement on the future of the site. I believe that we have agreement on around 95% of the site for sport, community, nature and economic development. That cannot go ahead at the moment because there is no agreement on the listed buildings. As I indicated to you, the thing that will lift that is the First Minister agreeing with me to allow that potential to go ahead on the least controversial aspects of the site while we continue to work with stakeholders and others to find a possible future use for the listed buildings. That is the reality. That is what I hear on the ground in Lagan Valley. I am not sure whether the Member is not hearing that on the ground in Lagan Valley. Of course, I want to see that potential fulfilled. We have to move forward with sensitivity on that.
