Text

I will take the Minister back to the original question around legacy and rebuilding trust and confidence in policing. I concur with her remarks about supporting people from all sections of the community to continue to apply to join the police. However, in the Chief Constable's comments, it is obvious that there is a financial pressure greater than no other in respect of policing. What representation has the Minister made to the Treasury directly around the legacy piece to see whether we can come to a conclusion around funding that can support the police to allow them to rebuild trust and confidence in other areas?
