Text

I did not want to breach any of your rules. During the debate, the Member for West Tyrone Mr Buchanan referred to a University of Oxford report on water quality in rivers. For the House's information, the same point was made at a meeting of the AERA Committee. I had it clarified at that Committee meeting and written into the record that that report refers to four rivers in England and has nothing to do with Northern Ireland or the NAP. Is it misleading in any way or an example of presenting misinformation to bring such information to a debate in the House when it has been clarified at a Committee meeting that it is not relevant?

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.05 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
