Text

I thank the Minister for his important and far-reaching statement. I particularly welcome the additional allocation to Libraries NI. As the Minister is aware, I have been championing investment in Newtownards library for 20 years — I am that old — and I am delighted to see £200,000 being allocated to it. Could the Minister provide some more detail on the purpose of that money and on whether we will see that much-needed new build become a reality? To copy a colleague's phrase, I hope that it will be on his watch.
