Text
Those strategies and all the strategies that we talk about will not be fixed in stone. They need to adapt to the times we are living in, and the changes announced by the UK Government highlight how important it is that we are able to respond and help in whatever ways we can. Again, there will be responsibilities for all Departments, but the Department for Communities wants to make sure that it is in a position to help through, for example, employability programmes. I have heard time and time again from disabled people who say that the system works against them and they are not getting help to break down the barriers to work. I want to make sure that we help those people in particular.
