Text
Yes, absolutely. I have met many disabled people who have told me about their desire to get into work but also about the barriers that exist. We have 325,000 people in Northern Ireland who are economically inactive, 122,000 of whom have a disability or a long-term health condition. We need to make sure that supports are in place to help those people. We will bring forward actions in the anti-poverty strategy and the disability and work strategy to make sure that that happens so that we see a real, positive change in people's lives.
