Text
In the vein of the conversation that we had earlier, there is no joint office opinion on the issue. I very much welcome his intervention, however; it is a very helpful intervention. I wish that more people had the maturity and ability to enter into the conversation and embrace it in a way where we could have one objective to make everybody's life better. That is the prize for us all in what we can achieve here going forward. I do not see any contradiction whatsoever between being able to govern on a day-to-day basis for our public services and trying to better people's lives whilst also having that conversation. I think that it is happening organically. For me, it is about much more than sticking the North onto the South. For me, it is about the unity of people and about building a better future for everybody.
