Text
I thank the Member for his question. On 1 May, I was pleased to announce the appointment of the independent panel that will undertake the review of teacher workload. The panel will examine all aspects of teacher workload and will monitor the implementation of the series of workload commitments issued alongside the pay offer. The panel has been asked to report to me by the end of November of this year. The appointments to the panel were Paul Sweeney as chairperson; Larry Flanagan, the Northern Ireland Teaching Council nomination; and Liam Perry, the management side nomination.
