Text

The Budget sets out what will be financed in this financial year. As the Member will be aware, it is aligned with the Programme for Government. I look forward to being able to present the Executive with a three-year resource Budget and a four-year capital Budget in the autumn, which will further allow the Executive to fund the priorities through the Programme for Government. As I said earlier, I believe that the next three years will continue to be very challenging financially, but the fact that we can plan for three years is a game changer.
