Text

I thank the Minister for his statement. I note that, in the welcome announcement of £100 million for more social housing, the Minister stated that, in line with that commitment, there will be investment of £105 million in waste water infrastructure. We are aware that waste water infrastructure is often the major issue with planning applications. Will the Minister impress on his party colleague, the Infrastructure Minister, the need to ensure that the investment in waste water infrastructure is allocated across all parts of the community and will stand up to scrutiny in an equality impact assessment?
