Text
I thank the Member for answering on behalf of the Commission. It is good to know that we are making plans to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Before I came in, I went into the Senate Chamber and read the inscription of gratitude: the Senate Chamber was used as an operations room by the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. Does the Member have any sense of when there will be a public announcement about the commemorations? They are very dear.
