Text
My departmental officials continue to work on developing the hydrogen policy consultation paper. We have established a hydrogen industry working group that consists of representatives from industry, academia and representative groups to inform that work, with a view to publishing the consultation paper in quarter 2 of this year. Stakeholders will then be given 12 weeks in which to respond to the questions, which will cover a range of issues that are in the consultation process. Some of those were aired as part of the debate last week. It is quite an exciting policy area for us, and we look forward to consulting on it.
