Text
As I said earlier, quite a lot of work is being done to see such projects move at a much faster pace. On Friday, we launched the consultation on developer contributions, which is about trying to get more investment into the system so that we can move ahead with the much-needed upgrades. No one in the Chamber would disagree with the need to move forward with the projects, but, at this time, the funding is not there to enable me to do that. I will continue to work with NI Water, the NIEA and all other stakeholders to ensure that we can continue to move at pace on delivering those really critical schemes.
