Text
I asked the question in the context of the work of the Northern Ireland Office and the UK Government on the replacement for the Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Act 2023. The new commissioner, and the people with whom he or she works, will play such a pivotal role in advising on amendments to the new legislation. Is there any talk of that function being specific to the role?
