Text
That is largely out of my hands, because work is ongoing on the development of the Irish language and Ulster-Scots strategies. A cross-departmental working group has been set up to look at the potential actions that could come from that work and at the cost of such actions. I fully respect the rights of people in regard to their cultural and linguistic heritage, and I want to make sure that we balance those rights with the costs that may come with that work. The working group will come back to me, but it will ultimately be for the Executive to decide the way forward.
