Text
I thank the Member for his cordial words. I recently met officials in relation to that scheme. The upgrade and signalisation of Caw roundabout is the responsibility of the developer, as included in the planning consent for the adjacent H30 development. The Department continues to work with the developer on the matter. On 15 November and 12 December last year, the developer submitted further information on the traffic assumptions and modelling updates. Additional design information was received on 17 February this year. I met officials on receipt of that, and it is currently being reviewed in line with the Department's responsibility to protect road safety. I hope that we will be able to make further progress on that very soon.
