Text
First, I welcome today's announcement. It is a positive step forward in delivering transformation. I am keen to try to understand the decision-making process slightly more. As humble Back-Benchers, it would be useful to understand whether it was the public-sector transformation board that made the recommendations on the funding awards. I see that the Department for Infrastructure bid for £9 million for planning reform, which was welcome, but the decision was to allocate only one third of that. I am keen to understand whether it was an Executive decision or a recommendation by the board to fund it only to that degree.
