Text
I thank the Member for that question because it raises the important issue of the financial needs that we have, and I have spoken about those already. The challenges that we are facing in the current financial year are difficult. We are facing an overspend but are working incredibly hard with the Education Authority to bring our budget into line this year. A huge amount of work has to be done to achieve that. I am confident that we will be able to reach a break-even position in this financial year but that will be a result of our not putting resources into areas in which we should have. We have challenges with our capital budget, but I am confident that we will be able to bring the capital budget into line. The next financial year, though, presents a really difficult challenge.
