Text
I assure the Member that, while curriculum review may not be in the Programme for Government, I am taking it forward. I did not have to wait for a Programme for Government to be agreed in order to get on with a huge amount of work in my Department. The review of the curriculum is an important piece of work. Everyone would agree that we need to ensure that our curriculum is fit for purpose, so a review of it is timely. I look forward to that work being concluded by Lucy Crehan, whom I commissioned to carry it out for me. We will look at what that says, and we will take forward further work as a result.
