Text

Mr McGlone asked the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, after noting that he is probably aware that, even yesterday, people in rural areas were, as a result of the recent storm, moving into their fifth week without fibre broadband, which can be used for various basic communications and business and medical purposes, whether, given that the Department invested considerable amounts of money into Project Stratum, he is cooperating in any way with the Department for the Economy, which is the project's oversight management body, to advise on customer services and the standards that customers should expect in view of the high levels of public moneys that have been invested in that project, to ensure that the likes of that do not happen again.
