Text
I am always happy to work with clubs that are in need and looking for some support, either to direct them to funding or to make use of the funding streams that may become available in the Department. I am a big advocate for all sports. I want to make sure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to play and take part, because that brings benefits that go way beyond my Department — we can think of the health and educational outcomes. Certainly, I will always look for additional investment in that way. The Member will understand the limited budgets with which we are operating, but it is an investment and, therefore, a good use of money. I will always be an advocate for that.
