Text

We are beginning to receive more and more representations about the impact that is being felt, especially as power stays off for a longer time. Again, it is about trying to get an understanding of what those impacts are. Concerns have been raised with me about the likelihood, or otherwise, of insurance covering some of the impacts. We need to have a full understanding of all of that. We will make representations, once we have a full understanding of what the financial costs are going to be. I will be engaging with the Secretary of State again later today, and I have been in correspondence with the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, on the issue.
