Text
With respect, the Member's comment is entirely inconsistent. On the one hand he says, "This is a long-term problem that needs a long-term solution", and, on the other he thumps the desk and says, "Do something now". Does the Member really think that, if I could pull a lever that would help, even in a minor way, today and tomorrow, I would not pull it? Does he really think that anybody is sitting back and saying, "There is a partial solution, today and tomorrow, that will make a partial positive difference", and we are not doing it? If the Member does think that, come and see me afterwards and tell me what it is.
