Text

There is no escaping the fact that we have had a very turbulent and difficult past. It is also very important that we remember that much trauma and suffering has been inflicted on so many people across our society. My job, as a political leader in 2025, is to try to heal the wounds of the past and allow a space for us to be respectful of each other, of our life journeys and of what we believe. It is important that we create that space for each other. I am committed to doing that, and I ask the Member to join me.
