Text
First Minister, I am genuinely intrigued to hear that seeking pre-clearance is official Executive policy, in part because it originated from a clandestine bilateral process between the DUP and the UK Government, not the other Executive parties. Secondly, we know that the Trump Administration will be anti-immigration. They will not seek more open borders. Thirdly, it is also true that we already have pre-clearance on this island. The US Administration are likely to say, "Travel 100 miles down the road to Dublin".
