Text
I believe that there was a crossover between the submission of questions for oral answer and the responses to the questions for written answer, so I thank the Minister for those. Is the Minister assured that, in the water management along the Quoile, dredging can play no part in assisting flood alleviation in the area? Many local people, some of whom have used the waterway in excess of 50 years, can pinpoint that the change in water management in the area came when the dredging stopped, yet the Department continually tells us that dredging will do nothing. Will the Minister have a real, deep look at that to see whether dredging could assist in any way?
