Text

I am aware of the deadline of 31 December for exemptions, and I am aware that, particularly in my council area, council staff have been really proactive in visiting people and encouraging them to apply. In the new year, I heard from people who did not meet the deadline and were gravely concerned. Has the Department given any direction to councils about people who missed the 31 December deadline but applied by 2 or 3 January?
