Text
I thank the Minister for her answer. I understand that it is the responsibility of the Chief Constable, but I am also aware that sometimes in the past there has been a long delay and a waiting list for officers appointed through a recruitment exercise. Has the Minister had some communication with the Chief Constable or the Policing Board to ensure that officers appointed through this exercise can have confidence that at least some funding is in place to enable appointments and not long waiting lists?
