Text
I thank the Minister for his comprehensive statement. The Minister will know that we are all concerned about the huge and rising numbers of children with special educational needs in our education system, the impact that that has on the child and the parents and how teachers, in many ways, feel under-equipped to deal with those huge numbers. Minister, how will the delivery of the SEN reform agenda be costed? What will be the cost? How will that be funded? Will the Minister also elaborate on some of the performance measures, which will be key to ensuring that we tackle the issue for the long term?
