Text

I thank the Minister for his statement today. He is delivering on the key needs of schools here in Northern Ireland. I have no doubt that, when the call goes out, he will be inundated with schools looking to apply. That points to my question about the criteria: will the projects need to be spade-ready through the planning system to be able to access the fund? He will know about Devenish College's need for a hockey pitch; he is a hockey fan. Fermanagh has no hockey pitch provision. Will the projects need to be spade-ready to access the funds?
