Text

During the pandemic, a lot of the public health priorities were shifted from one body to another so that certain bodies, whether hospitals or the community and voluntary sector, could help those who were overwhelmed with the adults who were suffering from COVID. However, that balance has not been struck again as regards shifting the responsibilities back. Can the Minister commit himself to assessing that situation, particularly when it comes to the resources that were never shifted at any period? There are some organisations that still carry the burden. Despite reaching out a hand to help during COVID, they are still burdened with the responsibility and resources from the time.
