Text
I am keen to answer any of the questions that are put to me, but it is not appropriate for me to get into the ins and outs of why individual Ministers have not brought forward legislation, some of which I am aware of and some of which will take a little longer because of policy development issues. It may be the other side of Christmas before some things are advanced compared with when they were initially intended. I hope that we can get there, because I also still want us to get to that point. We all want to get into the nitty-gritty of the legislation that is coming forward. The deputy First Minister and I have written to all Ministers again to ask for an update on the legislative programme. We intend to bring that to the Assembly for a statement early in the new year so that we can set out exactly where we are with every piece of current legislation and what else will be coming in the next year.
