Text
If we find that the definition of a carer is not being fully understood, yes, I am very happy to ensure that it is revisited. I am sure that that will be reflected in the consultation responses, a significant number of which are being analysed over the autumn. We intend to move to drafting the legislation over the next year. There will be an opportunity to look at that, and the legislation will then have its passage through the Assembly, where, again, there will be an opportunity for scrutiny of, amendments to and other arguments and debates on it. There is quite some way to go with it, and if we find that issues are not being addressed, there will be opportunities to revisit them in the time ahead.
