Text
I am pleased to inform the Member that good progress has been made. This is another example of where no action has been taken for far too long. It has been a requirement on my Department and predecessor Departments since 1998 to deliver this, and I am pleased to inform the House that it is still my intention to make sure that we have the anti-poverty strategy before Executive colleagues in January. What is more, I want to make sure that that is a strategy that has buy-in and that other Departments are signed up to. Currently, the interdepartmental working group is meeting to make sure that the Departments sign up to something that is sustainable and, importantly, actually makes a difference.
