Text

Biomethane has already been used in the gas network in, I think, the Dungannon area. There are targets to increase that usage by, I think, up to 30% over the coming years. We are already on the way in developing how biomethane is used. We see it as one of the key elements in our drive towards net zero and towards sustainable and secure energy supplies. I am sure that, in consideration of regulations or any other matters that the Department is dealing with, we will make sure that that is in line with our desire to see the economy grow sustainably around biomethane.

Not qualifying

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not qualifying”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.02 (qualifying needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not qualifying).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-qualifying threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
