Text

I have been advised that it would not be appropriate for me to name the challengers at this stage. However, I understand that there may be a hearing tomorrow, with each party setting out their initial case. At some stage then, there may be an opportunity for those who brought forward the case to be named, but it would not be appropriate for me to do that. Like, I am sure, the vast majority of Members, I am greatly disappointed that the case has been brought forward. We are all aware of the need for the A5 in order to save lives, open up the north-west and provide for great connectivity. I assure the Member that my Department and I will defend the case robustly.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.05 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
