Text
I thank the Minister for his statement. It is very welcome at this time of financial pressure across Northern Ireland, and I welcome the fact that the money can be used in this way. I will ask two questions, if I may. I am interested to know what will be coming in the direction of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council. To follow that, I am also interested to know what the process will be when councils make their proposals and the proposals come back to the Minister for assessment. How will we ensure that the community and voluntary sector and faith-based organisations have a fair shot across each council district?
