Text

Minister, I thank you, because you have reacted to a pretty appalling situation across Northern Ireland. My question is on the differentials between the offerings in different trust areas. I have been involved in a case in which the parents moved from the Southern Trust, where they had overnight stays, to the South Eastern Trust, five minutes down the road, where there was no provision. Their overnight stays in the Southern Trust were withdrawn, and, when they moved back, of course, they were at the bottom of the waiting list for social work interventions and for overnight stays.
