Text
I thank the Minister for coming here today to speak to this. Crimes of a sexual nature are some of the most heinous crimes, and my thoughts are very firmly with the women who were victims of those attacks. As we know, those types of crimes are significantly underreported and have low conviction rates due to the struggle to get through the process. Those victims are to be commended for coming forward and working with the police. To reassure women, can the Minister outline the supports that will be in place for those victims as they progress through the justice system in the wake of those attacks?
