Text
The Office for Environmental Protection was set up as a result of us leaving the European Union. It has a significant and important role, which I value. A number of reports have been recently published, and they are obviously in the discourse of the Chamber and in the media. The issue is that that is one part of the environmental governance landscape that has emerged post EU exit, and we still do not have an independent environmental protection agency in Northern Ireland. That is something that we want to consider. I value the Office for Environmental Protection, and I believe that it is doing a good job.
