Text
The Member will be aware of the review that was carried out in relation to the flooding in that area and the lessons to be learned from the responses of agencies to the flooding and how we react in the future. One of the most immediate actions that we can take is to continue to develop how we support the local community to be a resilient group and, where we can, have sandbags and other measures in place and available to local businesses and local community groups to distribute more quickly. That is an important step forward. The lessons from last year are being worked through and will be learned from.
