Text

We have already demonstrated that that is what we are absolutely committed to doing, when you look at what we have been able to do. Our draft Programme for Government is out for consultation. We have had the first-year legislative programme. We have made advances in childcare. We have made advances across a raft of areas on which we can be collectively proud that we are making progress. Of course, there is a large volume of work to get through. It is important that we get the right strategies and policies in place. It is important that we demonstrate to the public the value of local institutions delivering for them. That is my resolve and, no doubt, that of the deputy First Minister in the Executive Office. We will always come to the House to talk to Members about all the areas that we cover.
