Text

I thank the Member for giving way. I realise that he has not seen the draft text, but he has heard the policy intent, which I set out in my speech, and therefore knows exactly what we intend to do. They are not controversial issues. They are issues that have been on the agenda for a long time, such as, as Mr Frew mentioned, normalising the use of live links in the court service. That is not controversial. In fact, I think that Mr Frew said — possibly uniquely — that that would probably get universal support. We are not trying to bury bad news or to hold back things that may be controversial. We are simply trying to do this in a timely fashion and make the best use of the three short years that are left in the mandate.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.04 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
