Text
I have to say that the First Minister was less than clear in her response to the Chair of the Executive Office Committee. That Committee has an important scrutiny role, and members have the ability to ask more than one question, which we are limited to here today. I will ask again: will the First Minister commit to accede to any request to return to the Executive Office Committee to answer questions on this matter in the interest of restoring public confidence in relation to safeguarding? Furthermore, will she cooperate with any investigation or inquiry launched by the Committee or any complaint investigated by the Commissioner for Standards?
