Text
I declare an interest as a safeguarding board member of a major NGO and the safeguarding governor of a school in my constituency. First Minister, when you first employed Michael McMonagle, what due diligence did you do on his conduct in order to determine his suitability for employment? Subsequent to being informed that he was being investigated for serious offences, what safeguarding checks did you conduct in relation to any access that he may have had to children or vulnerable adults while he was in your employ?
