Text
The siting of housing developments is an area on which schools will make a case for a change in enrolment figures. That is often the case for change that comes through. If there is a new housing development, any reports that come to me will reflect what that might mean for an increase in the birth rate and potential pressures on schools. Housing developments do not necessarily, in and of themselves, translate into evidence of a need for schools, but I have outlined the flexibility with which we approach such matters as need arises.
