Text
Sorry, I beg your pardon. I picked you up wrong. The Minister of Education and I agreed, at the first Executive meeting following the restoration of the Assembly, I think, on the importance of developing consistent careers advice. We have worked together on that, and continue to do so, and are making substantial progress. We want to ensure that careers advice is consistent and delivered uniformly to every child to ensure that every school has access to it. That has not been the case in the past and it is not the case now. We want to make sure that that advice is as up to date as it can be in a very fast-moving technological world. Part of that will be a careers portal that will allow parents to access the same information, rather than having to rely on what is delivered through the schools. We have been working on that diligently, and I hope that we will be able to make some announcements on it in the not-too-distant future.
