Text
You have to be able to run a Department through evidence-based interventions. My Department had an evidence-based intervention for Newry. We carried it out and, as a result, protected thousands of homes and thousands of businesses in Newry. Does more need to be done? Of course, it needs to be done. Some of those decisions will be difficult, some will be unpalatable and some will require a Minister to make an evidence-based intervention, and I will continue to do that.
