Text
I thank the Minister for an update on his ongoing work on the issue. Does he agree that vital to tackling underachievement is the leadership role that our teachers and principals play in our schools — I know that the Minister will meet the north Belfast principals' forum, next week, to discuss the issues that it faces — as is the vital work carried out by our non-teaching staff? That is why it was vital that the Minister was able to secure a proper pay settlement for our non-teaching staff.
